Festilitt - The Parisot Literary FestivalDescribed by the event's literary patron, Helen Dunmore, as 'the lovely festival', Festilitt transforms a tiny village deep in the stunning French countryside into a rich and diverse literary hub, buzzing with energy, conversation and laughter. There are French and English programmes running in parallel, featuring established and emerging authors, with the two communities coming together for meals and for a couple of bilingual sessions. It is an intimate event, offering the opportunity to mingle with authors over lunches and dinners, all aided by fabulous French food and wine. A totally non commercial festival, all events are free of charge, although support via the friends and patrons scheme (from €15 per head) is very much appreciated.
