Literary Festivals UK is sister site to Literary Festivals Australia , Literary Awards Australia and Festival Australia. Between them they publish details of nearly 200 literary festivals, 300 diverse festivals and details of shortlists and winners from over 200 book awards.
The sites were born out of our love of festivals and quality literature. Together they are part of the Sane Earth sister site network.
This site is self-funded by Kevin & Maddi' Parker as a contribution to the under pressure arts sector; production is a one-man show squeezed in between making a living & juggling four littlies, so 
please be kind if you spot inadvertent errors & let us know gently.

About the Site Publisher- Kevin Parker
Kevin Parker (BA, Adv Management Cert, Conflict Resolution Cert), was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. He was raised in Stevenage and Knebworth. He now moves between the UK and NSW in Australia.
Kevin's ( photo credit Maddi' Parker) professional background is as a Campaign Director, university researcher, a social movement organiser, lobbyist, and then consultant (natural aging progression). He was appointed as an Honorary Fellow at the University of Wollongong. He has also enjoyed success as an award winning private sector business owner in partnership with his wife.
These days he runs a web design business having been involved in the internet since the late eighties. He dapples in graphic design and occasionally takes a half-decent photo. He is a registered journalist.
Allegedly, he is an accomplished and entertaining public speaker.
