Established in 2007, Literary Festivals UK is sponsored, designed and programmed by Kevin Parker as a contribution to publicising community Literary Festivals. and author profiles. Over 450 literary festivals are listed (1800+ authors) and promoted via social media as each event looms. The site advocates freedom of expression and promotes the human rights of writers around the world. The site receives 500,000 unique vistors each year with a social media reach in excess of 3 million.
Listing is on an "each according to their means basis' but a minimum of £14.95 contribution is required to cover admin and on-costs for new and updated entries. Those willing to chip-in a little more (£29.95/£49.95/£99.95) will be given priority billing (ascending prime home page position, ad rotator throughout site, lead top banner negotiable) and social media amplification depending on booking order. Listing incorporates social media promotion via @litfests and Facebook , Press Release issue and monthly newlsetter inclusion.
