The First Coleridge Literary Festival in Ottery St Mary was held in 2011. A charming inaugural literary celebration in the birth place of Samual Coleridge Taylor to honour the work of the celebrated poet.

Saturday 22nd October
Exhibitions in town, the Parish Church, The Library, Art Galleries and the Information Centre,
11.00am Guided Walk with Peter Harris at 11.00am from Information Centre
12.30pm The Official Anniversary Lunch to celebrate Samuel Taylor Coleridge will take place at the Tumbling Weir Hotel fully booked
Later on in the evening at 7.00pm at the Normandy Restaurant a Candlelit Supper where reading of works by Coleridge will be given by members of local community.
