Anna Maria Espsäter is a UK-based, Swedish travel and food writer, covering worldwide destinations, but specialising in Latin America and Scandinavia.
Over the last nine years she has travelled extensively, worked on 20 books for a variety of publishers (Footprint, Berlitz, Michelin and others) and written over 350 features for magazines, newspapers and websites. She has a degree in Spanish and Latin American studies from the University of London and speaks four languages.
In addition to her written work she also gives talks and lectures at travel shows, private functions and in schools, accompanying the talks with her own travel photography from worldwide locations.
Her most recent books, to Uruguay, Argentina and Chile are being published by Footprint Travel Guides this autumn and she is currently branching out into different genres of writing, both fiction and non-fiction.
