The Carnival of Words is a festival to promote reading and writing across the Wrexham area and its communities, regardless of age or background. The focus is very much on performance and events are organised by Wrexham Library Services in conjunction with Glyndwr University, Waterstones Wrexham and groups of local volunteers. Each day and evening of the week-long festival features "headline" writers plus a full programme of pop-up events.
Wrexham Carnival of Words held its first festival in 2015.
When? Saturday 29th April - Saturday 6th May 2017.
Where? Glyndŵr University (Wrexham), Coleg Cambria, Wrexham Libraries and various comunity-based venues in the Wrexham area.
