Come and enjoy a relaxed evening with chick-lit writers, Lesley Pearse & Judy Astley.

Join Professor Stephen Harding, to hear more about Viking Wirral and the Draken Harald Fairhair Longship Project.
Birkenhead Central Library 2.15pm. Free event. Booking essential.
Wednesday 12th October:
Join us for an Evening with acclaimed former Poet Laureate, Sir Andrew Motion, as he introduces his latest book of poems, The Cinder Path.
Bromborough Civic Centre 7pm. Tickets £8.00 including wine. Booking essential.
Thursday 13th October:
Elizabeth Williams, the chairwoman of the Gaskell Society, will talk about the life and work of our best loved authors, Jane Austen & Charlotte Bronte.
Bebington Central Library 2.30pm. Tickets £3.00 including refreshments.
Thursday 13th October:
Join local author, Elizabeth Davey as she entertains with a fascinating screen presentation about her book, The Story of Birkenhead.
Upton Library: 2.30pm-3.30pm. Tickets £2.50 including refreshments.
Friday 14th October:
Author Gavin Chappell will entertain with stories of the swashbuckling adventures of Wirrals Smugglers.

Join Marc Gee, playwright, screen writer and novelist as he gives an absorbing and unique insight into his work and many years as a writer.
