Winchester Writers’ Conference Festival
What's it all about? Leading writers, playwrights, poets, editors and literary agents help aspiring and published writers to improve and market their own work. Apparently, Jack Sheffield, author of Teacher, Teacher!, secured a three book deal after meeting a commissioning editor at the 2005 conference and 76 writers have had major publishing success.
