What's it all about? Wells is England's smallest city and all Festival events take place within walking distance of the Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. You can hear talks on fiction, politics, poetry, ecology, travel, history, biography, science, philosophy ... and much more. Film and theatre are also represented. Adults and children alike are particularly invited to our new Open Sunday with events for all ages and an opportunity to read your own poems to an audience of other poets and vote for your favourite competition entry. The day finishes with the prize giving.
