The festival takes place in the gardens and ground at Coughton Court, with over 600 years of the Throckmorton family's residence. The festival is intrinsically bound up with the venue - house and 
gardens - and 600 years of history.

It provides a sumptuous backdrop to hear some of our best-loved writers talk about their work, from crime writers and best-selling novelists to tyhistorians, biographers, and authorities on art, gardens, politics and religion.
