What? Writers gather in the majestic house and grounds of the Throckmorton family at Coughton Court for the Throckmorton Literary Festival. The three-day event features an organ recital, book signings and readings.

Where? Throckmorton, Warwickshire, Coughton Court is a stunning Tudor house set in 25 acres of landscaped gardens. It provides a sumptuous backdrop to hear some of our best-loved writers talk about their work, from crime writers and best-selling novelists to historians, biographers, and authorities on art, gardens, politics and religion. How much? In 2009 . All talks are £8, and concerts are £10. Visitors can also purchase a day ticket to include all events, for £35. For school groups of 15 or more, a 10% discount is offered. A £1 reduction is offered to full-time students with valid photo ID, senior citizens and children under 18. The ticket price includes entry to the gardens (excluding the walled garden), but not the house.
