SO: To Speak is Southampton's first Festival of Words. Over 10 days it involves top class writers, poets, storytellers, theatre, song, half-term children's activities, workshops and a Writers Day. Supported by the Arts Council, Literature Works and Apples and Snakes is launching new works about local legend Bevis and the Spitfire, and holding competitions and exhibitions. The event is also hosting the city's first Persian cultural Festival.
