What? A literary festival that started in 1991 in the lovely Richmond on the outskirts of London. Plenty to do and see in the immediate area.There is a focus on extraordinary lives: whether it's the writers 'own lives or their subjects', the true-life stories that are revealed are remarkable and inspirational.

The box office is open from 16 September Monday-Friday
10.00am-4.30pm with a message service at other times.
In person - Tickets are available from 16 September by cash,
cheque or credit card from the Tourist Information Centre,
Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, open Monday-
Saturday 10.00am-5.00pm, and from Orleans House Gallery,
Riverside, Twickenham, open Tuesday-Saturday 1.00-4.30pm
and Sunday 2.00-4.30pm.
On the door - Tickets will be on sale 30 minutes prior to the
start of the events at the venue concerned, subject to availability.
Concessions - Concessionary prices are for over-60s, those
in receipt of unemployment benefit or income support, registered
disabled and under-16s, full-time students and Leisure Card
holders. Escorts of registered disabled go free. Please show
appropriate proof when purchasing or collecting tickets.
