The first Purbeck Literary Festival took place in 2014 and it is returning for a 3rd year in February 14- 27, 2016 . First Literary Festival of the new season as far as we can tell.
Venues across the district including village halls, schools, country pubs, cafes and hotels support the festival.
2016 sees Creative workshops, poetry, performances, art exhibitions and events featuring the works of Enid Blyton, T.E. Lawrence, Thomas Hardy, Percy F. Westerman and contemporary authors many of whom lived in or were inspired by Purbeck and Dorset.
The 2016 festival will be from Sunday 14th February - Saturday 27th February
