Newcastle Poetry FestivalThis new three day festival kicked-off in 2015 organised by Newcastle University’s Centre for the Literary Arts (NCLA). It marked the culmination of an 18-month project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) cataloguing, creating digital access to, and creatively exploring the extensive archives of Bloodaxe Books, acquired two years ago by Newcastle University.
Looks like funding has been secured for 2016 and back again with a May date.
When? 5th-7th May 2016
Where? All events take place at Northern Stage, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
All events are free, but ticketed. Poetry Festival Day Passes for Friday and Saturday can be ordered from the Newcastle University WebStore.
