Simon Brett: entertains at the Literary Lunch with the writer's view of crime and comedy.

Josceline Dimbleby explores the food influences of her rich and varied life.
Terence Frisby: "Kisses on a Postcard"
Terence Frisby evokes a childhood rich in experience as an evacuee during WW2.
Lyndall Gordon: "Lives Like Loaded Guns: Emily Dickinson and Her Family's Feuds"

James Holland: "The Battle of Britain"

Jane Robinson: "Bluestockings"
Jane Robinson's illustrated talk will recall the remarkable story of the first women to fight for an education.
Diana Souhami: "Edith Cavell"
Diana Souhami discusses her biography of Edith Cavell, the pioneering British nurse, who was executed by the Germans in Brussels during WW1.
Jenny Uglow: "A Gambling Man"
Jenny Uglow makes a welcome return to our programme with her brilliant biography of Charles II and his Restoration.
Poetry Event:
