The King's Lynn Literature Festivals are held during a single weekend in March (Fiction) and September (Poetry) each year. Their guiding principle, initiated by co-founder, the late George MacBeth, is to present some of the best of contemporary writers in a congenial and informal setting. You will see writers of international repute alongside new writers, from all age ranges and from locations across the world.
Each session lasts around 90 minutes, in two halves. During the interval, you can enjoy some refreshments while you browse the bookstall of works by the Festival's authors - all of whom are happy to chat and sign their books.
