One of the great strengths of the Henley Literary Festival is the beautiful venues within the town. In previous years they have included Bix Manor, The Quince Tree, The Kenton Theatre, The River and Rowing Museum, Phyllis Court and The Hibernia.

Where? The riverside town of Henley-on-Thames hosts this 5 day event
Who? In 2015 - Writer Gyles Brandreth is returning to Henley after his sell-out event in 2012. Making her Festival debut is Caroline Lucas MP, the former Green leader who will discuss the experience of being her party's first (and to-date, only) MP. A trio of internationally bestselling novelists: Before I Go To Sleep author S.J. Watson with his much-anticipated follow-up Second Life; Paula Hawkins, whose debut The Girl On The Train topped both the UK and US bestseller charts on its release last month; and Agatha Raisin & Hamish Macbeth creator .

Monday: Before I Go To Sleep writer SJ Watson is joined by Renee Knight, author of the year's most talked-about debut, Disclaimer. 2.30pm, Town Hall.
Tuesday: Best known as Eastenders' Pat Butcher, Pam St Clement reflects on a career that also included the RSC and Joan Littlewood. 6.30pm, Kenton Theatre.
Wednesday: BBC presenter Anita Anand tells the story of India's suffragette princess Sophia, goddaughter of Queen Victoria. 2.30pm, Kenton Theatre.
Thursday: Actress and Celebrity Masterchef winner Lisa Faulkner talks Tea and Cake with Gower Cottage Brownies' Kate Jenkins. 6.30pm, Kenton Theatre.
Friday: Lib Dem Norman Baker, The Times' Ann Treneman & The Guardian's Polly Toynbee look back at the coalition government. 8.30pm, Town Hall.
Saturday: After working with everyone from Ted Hughes to Johnny Depp, Ralph Steadman's latest collaboration is Nextinction, with Ceri Levy. 1pm Kenton Theatre.
Sunday: Azi Ahmed joins the panel for our diversity event, alongside novelist and playwright Stephen Thompson and publisher Valerie Brandes. 3pm, Phyllis Court.
Children's Events
For younger children (3+): Charlie and Lola creator Lauren Child makes a special appearance to celebrate the launch of their new book One Thing. Sunday October 4, 9.30am Kenton Theatre.
For older children (6+): A very special adventure with Julian from the Famous Five for this event for ll the family. Saturday October 3, 11am, Kenton Theatre.
