Founded in 2001, the community festival comprises ten days of music (modern, folk and classical), literature, drama, comedy, films, photography, exhibitions, green issues, fashion, local history, science & technology and multi-media presentations.

With close to 200 events in up to 40 different venues and attendances of more than 30,000 the Frome Festival is an integral part of the town’s cultural life. It is also a significant factor in the economy of the local area. It has fast become one of the most significant and diverse community festivals in the UK, attracting attention from all over the world.
