A celebration of writing and books held beneath the Ivinghoe Beacon landmark in the beautiful Chilterns countryside. Established in 2013 as a half-day event, organisers it moved to for a full-day affair in 2014 and it has been growing stronger each year.
In its fourth year in 2016, BeaconLit offers an eclectic feast of literary talent in a friendly atmosphere. With 15 authors, writers, editors and broadcasters in discussion panels, performances and live interviews, it's a great day out for writers, readers and all book lovers. There will be debut authors, a crime fiction panel, historical fiction conversation, performance policy and more. Light refreshments, free parking and 
giveaways.
