The focus of the Festival is Balham and South London – from fictional depictions of the area to speakers who have strong links to this part of the capital, we are proud to be able to celebrate this side of the Thames.

As well as celebrating the local, there are events that consider today’s world through broader themes, from philosophy and climate change, to politics and the health care system
