RETURN TO MAIN LITERARYFESTIVALS.CO.UK WEBSITE

Here are dates for Literary Festivals taking place for the March April and May 2019 that I have on-hand. I have tracked as many festival dates as possible for the rest of the year if you are planning a literary break. Check them out on the site. A heads-up to organisers, I am taking September through December off to travel this year, so make sure that you get your details in as early as possible for the crowded autumn calendar, its in your interest.

March is shaping-up to be a good month for festival goers with an excellent choice on-offer.

Wonderful to see Lyra-A New Poetry Festival for Bristol up and running with the help of the Arts Council England. So many of our regional arts and cultural events are made possible by Arts Council grants and the armies of volunteers who are the life-blood of festivals, thank you one-and-all.

Darlington Arts Festival 2019 incorporating the Writers Festival, has a significant literary stream this year, good to see. Huddersfield Literary Festival seems to go from strength to strength each year under the guidance of Michelle Hodgson and her team.

Looking ahead to May, Whitlit (8-17 May, Kent) takes place by the sea in one of the prettiest towns in the country and has a top line-up gathered by Director Vicroria Falconer.

Festival organisers can update details or send new listing info here. First in with bookings for 2019 bag the lead spot. Authors are invited to list here. Media & PR releases use the return email address above.Follow us via @litfests on Twitter or Facebook for regular updates & literary tidbits. Sign-up for our newsletter if you would like the heads-up about upcoming festival dates. Blessings all. Kev P
